Product Data Management

We create and also modify the Product Data Management Systems’ 3D -Models of the plants and equipment whenever there are changes needed by the client. The modeling will be done on;

-We carry out detailed 2D and 3D modelling activities to support the layout team to answer to site queries.
-We answer or contribute to answer to site requests by gathering all needed inputs, providing technical analysis and justification, by liaising with the engineering back offices if needed and by evaluating the impacts of the request on the different disciplines
-perform 2D or 3D checks when required
-contribute to the production of any technical document request to support the construction (eg Equipment Location Book, Review of Anchorages for Equipment )

CAD Services
We design products from concepts to final working products.
We provide a range of high quality and flexible CAD draughting services, either operating under our client’s own quality standards, or Kimo Design’s own BSI accredited ISO 9001-2015 quality system. We operate in accordance with industry CAD Standards for; CAD layering, annotation, file naming etc, which facilitates easy flow of design and drawings between our client and their stakeholders. We are also flexible and can adopt tailored CAD/BIM requirements.
We maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records and documentation as per company policies
Structure Design and Steel Work
We design and produce engineering blueprints, fabricate steel frames and supports, and oversee the installation of steel infrastructure. We also perform maintenance and repairs to existing steel structures.
Piping Models of Industrial Operations
High-compatibility models can be generated for use in AutoCAD and other CAD programs. If your as-built drawings are out of date or non-existent, 3D scanning can be used to to update them or re-create them completely. CAD models created from 3D scans can be provided in a variety of formats. You choose the items you want to see in the CAD model, and to what level of detail. CAD modeling can be done of the entire plant or just a small area based on project needs. View these CAD models using free viewers such as Autodesk TruView.
On-site 3D scanning
We Offer on-site scanning services, which is crucial in minimizing downtime of your turbines, machinery etc. This data can then be used for multiple purposes, including: Reverse Engineering of your damaged components Verifying component measurements and tolerances create 3D models of your desired components 3D model verification for additive manufacturing Tolerances & Complex Geometry checks

Tank & Vessel Shape Inspection
A tank or vessel may deviation from its ideal shape, whether it be cylindrical or spherical. Tank and vessel inspections utilize 3D laser scanners to capture highly precise point clouds that can then be compared to the ideally designed shape.
Tower Inspection reports
Wind turbine towers sometimes get damaged due to a storm, fire or other type of failure. Using 3D laser scanning, we can measure the tower safely from the ground and answer many questions including: Are there any dents? If so, where are they and how deep are they? Is the tower bending or leaning?
